Vice City

Vice City runs down the east coast of Leonida. It is a dense grid of blocks, causeways and barrier islands, with a beach strip on the seaward side and the mainland behind it. The real-world reference is Miami.

It is the best documented part of the map. Both trailers spend most of their running time in the city, so the street layout, the waterfront and a number of individual buildings are based on footage rather than on guesswork.

The city is large enough to have its own districts. Those are named on the community map, but how Rockstar divides the city has not been confirmed.

Vice City appeared before, in the 2002 game of the same name. How much of that layout returns is not known.
