GTA Online adds Stoner Survival during the 420 event

Rockstar has added a new mode to GTA Online for the 420 event. It is called Stoner Survival and starts at 4.20pm in game time in Los Santos. The mode pays four times the usual amount. The event runs under the name LD Organics Presents.

Stoner Survival is announced by a Survival blip in freemode. The starting point is the trailer park in the Senora Desert. Enemies include aliens, life-sized action figures, clowns with wrenches and chickens in Cluckin’ Bell uniforms.

What the event pays out

Surviving five waves completes the weekly challenge, which runs until 22 April. Hunting Pack, in which players escort Lamar’s van, also pays four times the usual rate and gets a new map. A second challenge asks for two wins between 23 and 29 April.

Anyone who plays before 29 April gets a free item of clothing. Weed farms are discounted, and biker weed and counterfeit cash sales pay a bonus.

Peyote plants return as well. Eating one temporarily turns the player into an animal. The plants grow in the foothills of the Tataviam Mountains and on the sea floor.

What is still unknown

Whether Stoner Survival stays in the game after the event is not stated.
