GTA Online adds the Mansion Raid adversary mode
Rockstar has added Mansion Raid to GTA Online. The adversary mode puts attackers who want the gold from a mansion vault against the defenders of that mansion. It pays double during its first week. Winning a round pays an extra GTA$200,000.
Attackers have to plant explosives on the grounds to disable the security systems. Rockstar says going in loud is an option, but moving from cover to cover is the safer route to the bomb sites.
Thirty seconds at a time
Defenders try to disable the charges before they go off. Both sides shoot on sight, according to the announcement.
Every set of charges that goes off adds 30 seconds to the clock. Once the defences are down, the attackers descend to the vault on the lowest floor and have to carry the gold back out the way they came.
The rest of the week
Nightclub daily income is doubled. Business Battles pay four times the usual GTA$, RP and nightclub goods, and completing one counts as the weekly challenge.
Collecting G’s Cache pays double. Gerald gives the daily location, marked on the map with a flashing light and a beeping sound.
The Community Race Series pays double. Its newest track is a descent down a large ramp.
