GTA VI gets a Vice City collector's box for 399,99 euro

Rockstar Games has opened pre-orders for a collector’s box for Grand Theft Auto VI. The Vice City Collection holds eleven items around Macca the Gator, a TV show in the game. It costs 399,99 euro and ships on 19 November.

Rockstar announced the box on 24 September on its Newswire. It is a limited edition, sold only while supplies last. The full name is The Goodtime State, and that is the nickname of Leonida, the state in which the game is set.

Macca the Gator and his friends

Macca the Gator is a hit TV show in Leonida, Rockstar writes. The cartoon alligator appears on most items in the box, usually with a drink in his hand. Chunkee the Manatee, a flamingo, a crab and a sun in sunglasses are his friends from the show.

All eleven items are shown on the Vice City Collection page of the game. The descriptions below come from that page and from the product page in the Rockstar Store.

Eight collectibles

The centrepiece is a figure of Macca of 6 inches, about 15 centimetres. He enjoys a smoke and a flamingo blood martini, Rockstar writes. The base twists open and serves as a stash compartment.

The magnetic mirror is made of electroplated pink glass, with Macca in the corner. It can serve as a tray, or hang on the wall with two large magnets on the back.

The shot glass shows Chunkee the Manatee on the front. The Rockstar Games logo is laser-etched into the bottom.

A decorative swizzle spoon carries an enamel Vice City logo on its long stem. The tip of the handle is a Rockstar Games logo.

The keychain is a metal razor blade. The GTA VI and Vice City logos are embossed on it.

Nine enamel pins come in a metal tin of their own. They carry the name of Leonida Keys, one of the regions of the state, just like the bag and the stickers.

Nine vinyl stickers come in a small stash bag.

The souvenir poster is printed on both sides. The front shows the characters of Macca the Gator. The back shows the full map of Leonida, Rockstar writes. Whether that is the map of the game itself is not known.

Three items to wear

The sunglasses are Oakley Frogskins in matte black, with Prizm Sapphire lenses. The GTA VI logo is on the frame in Vice City pink.

The cap is a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback. It carries Vice City Leonida embroidery and appliques, with Macca on the front.

The crossbody bag is made of ripstop, with a black and pink lining. It carries woven patches and a YKK zipper pull with a custom design.

Price, size and shipping

The box costs 399,99 euro in the Rockstar Store, and free shipping does not apply. It measures 48 by 34 by 32 centimetres. The store lists it as an adult collectible for ages 18 and up. The game itself is not included.

How many boxes are made, Rockstar does not say. Pre-orders in Asia, Latin America and Australia follow later, according to the Newswire. More clothing and collectibles from the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection will also come to the store soon.

Grand Theft Auto VI appears on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
