GTA Online adds three Random Transform Races

Rockstar has added three Random Transform Races to GTA Online. The races pay triple GTA$ and RP this week. They are set around the Redwood Lights Track, the Elysian Island docks and the Grand Senora Desert. Players cycle through a fixed roster of vehicles.

The roster runs from Blazer ATVs and Manchez Scout motorcycles to Phantom tractor trucks, according to the announcement. Each vehicle is used once before the cycle starts again.

Two further races put land, sea and air vehicles in the same event. Rockstar describes them as a test of improvisation.

The rest of the week

A weekend bonus runs from 28 to 30 August and pays six times the usual reward on selected races. Drift Races pay double GTA$, RP and LS Car Meet Rep all week. Completing three of them fulfils the Weekly Challenge, which delivers a drift livery within 72 hours.

Auto Shop Robbery Contracts also pay double. Those require an Auto Shop.

Three more vehicles can now be fitted with Drift Tuning. Nine vehicles are 30 percent off, among them the Cheval Taipan, the Vapid Flash GT and the Annis ZR350.

The announcement does not say whether the new races stay in rotation after this week.
