The Kortz Center Heist opens on 14 July

The Kortz Center Heist comes to GTA Online on 14 July. Players rob an art museum in Pacific Bluffs. Taking part requires an Art Studio expansion inside a Mansion property. The heist can be played alone or with three other players.

The job is handed out by Mr. Faber and his fixer Raf De Angelis. Raf passes on reconnaissance during the heist, says Rockstar.

How the robbery works

The Art Studio houses a counterfeiter who makes forgeries of the target paintings. Gear and technology pile up in the studio during preparation, and the team picks a loadout from that stock for the finale.

Scoping comes first. Players walk through the gallery, photograph the paintings without alerting security and look for ways in and out. The museum also holds secondary targets that can be taken along.

Art that is known to be stolen fetches less on the secondary market, according to Rockstar. Leaving no witnesses and wiping the CCTV footage keeps the payout higher.

Stolen paintings do not have to be sold. They can be hung in the Mansion instead. Three new paintings can be stolen each week.

What is still unknown

What the Art Studio expansion costs is not stated. How long a full run takes is not mentioned either. Rockstar says new vehicles arrive with the heist but does not name them.
