GTA Online runs a two-week Summer Heist Event

GTA Online is running a Summer Heist Event from 30 July to 12 August. In the first week the weekly completion bonus for The Fleeca Heist and The Pacific Standard Heist pays double. Setup missions for both also pay more.

The Panther Statue returns to the vault of El Rubio on Cayo Perico. From 6 August it is guaranteed to be there, says Rockstar.

Two weekly challenges

Finishing The Fleeca Heist finale before 5 August delivers a sports car within 72 hours of completion. Rockstar shows the car but the announcement does not name it in plain text.

The second challenge runs from 6 to 12 August. Surviving three waves in any Survival without dying earns a tee.

GTA$1,000,000 for logging in

Playing GTA Online between 6 and 12 August is enough for GTA$1,000,000. The money arrives within 72 hours of logging in, says Rockstar.

Missions in the Community Mission Series pay triple GTA$ and RP during the event.

What is still unknown

Whether the doubled heist bonuses continue in the second week is not stated. Rockstar also gives no reason for putting the Panther Statue back within reach.
