Sony opens pre-orders for two GTA VI DualSense controllers

Sony has opened pre-orders for two limited-edition DualSense controllers in the style of GTA VI. There is a white version and a black one. Both cost 84,99 euro in the Netherlands and both ship on 19 November, the day the game arrives.

Where you can order them

The white controller is available in limited quantities worldwide through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers, says Sony. The black one goes exclusively through direct.playstation.com, and only where that store operates.

In the Netherlands the controller costs 84,99 euro at PlayStation Direct and at Bol, 84,95 euro at Nedgame and 89,95 euro at MediaMarkt, reports XGN. Elsewhere the price is 84,99 dollar or 74,99 pond. Several listings were sold out within hours.

The design

Both controllers carry palm tree motifs in the casing and the Grand Theft Auto VI logo. The finish shifts colour with the light. The white one leans on the beaches and pastel tones of Vice City; the black one is the same controller in a night version.

There is no USB-C cable in the box. The cable of the PlayStation 5 works, or one has to be bought separately.

What is not known

Sony writes about limited quantities but names no number. Whether a second production run follows is not stated.
