GTA V actors advise the unknown cast of Jason and Lucia

Actors from GTA V and San Andreas have advice for the people who play Jason and Lucia in Grand Theft Auto VI. Appreciate the fans, says Ned Luke, who played Michael. The tips come from an interview with All Out Gaming at MCM Comic Con.

IGN wrote about the interview on 28 October. Rockstar Games has not yet announced who plays Jason and Lucia.

Three tips

Young Maylay, the voice of CJ in San Andreas, keeps it short: have fun. Shawn Fonteno, who played Franklin in GTA V, advises listening to Rockstar. The studio will lead the way, and the ride will last a long time, Fonteno says.

According to Young Maylay, each generation has its own characters. Older fans still come to see CJ, younger fans come for the cast of GTA V. Jason and Lucia will grow with their own fans and take nothing away from the earlier characters.

Ned Luke asks for genuine gratitude. Fans can tell when it is fake, Luke says, and without fans there is nothing.

Steven Ogg sees it differently

Steven Ogg, who played Trevor, said in 2025 that GTA VI leaves Ogg cold, as a non-gamer. Ogg did suggest killing off Trevor at the start of GTA VI, to pass the torch to a new generation.

Who plays Lucia is not known

Fans think that Lucia is played by Manni L. Perez, but there is no confirmation. Perez recently avoided questions about GTA VI during a livestream. The actors in the game were reportedly reminded that their NDA runs until 19 November, the day of the release.
