Real cars dressed as GTA VI vehicles drive through Miami
Real cars made up as vehicles from Grand Theft Auto VI drove through Miami this week. They carried license plates of Leonida. Among them was a Lamborghini in the colours of the Vice City police, IGN writes.
The convoy is part of the marketing of Rockstar Games for the game in Miami, according to IGN.
Which cars
The cars drove close together through the city, IGN writes. Next to the police Lamborghini there was a McLaren dressed up as a Progen Emerus. Real versions of the Cheetah, the Coquette D10, the Tempesta and the Manana also drove along.
The local news page Only in Dade saw some of the cars at a gas station on 15 October.

In the distance hung the Goodyear blimp with an ad for GTA VI, according to IGN. Earlier this week that blimp was still on its way south from Ohio.
The account videotech on X shared the plates and the police car a day later.

Reactions
Reactions on social media are mostly positive, IGN writes. Players praise the creativity of the campaign. One user on X called the police Lamborghini “FIRE”.
Part of a larger campaign
The convoy follows the sign on the arena of the Miami Heat, ads in the stadium of the Dolphins and the blimp. Some officials of Miami-Dade County object to the campaign. The county commission meets again on 20 October.
What is not known
Whether Rockstar has confirmed the convoy, IGN does not say. How much the cars cost, and whether they will drive elsewhere, is not known. Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
